Intertek (Acumen Security and EWA) and Gossamer are 2nd and 3rd respectively.A total of 42 FIPS 140 certificates were posted in the first half of 2024 — 19 FIPS 140-3 certs. (3 are interim) and 23 FIPS 140-2 certs.
15 of the 23 FIPS 140-2 certificates are Rebrands; making up 36% of the total FIPS 140 certificates issued so far in 2024. No FIPS 140-3 rebranded certificates have been issued at the time of this post.
Security Level 1 certificates account for 76% of the total in the first half of 2024.
57% of the certificates are software; 31% are hardware.
